At the request of the French Ministry for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, e-TAMKEEN has organised a series of training courses for the Interministerial Consultation Network for Gender Equality in the Civil Service. The process began with a workshop bringing together the entire network to identify its training needs. This was a crucial step in ensuring that gender issues were fully integrated into the Digital Transformation Competency Building Plan drawn up by e-TAMKEEN in collaboration with its beneficiary partners.
Four areas of digital transformation have been identified as particularly relevant to the Interministerial Consultation Network : digital communication and e-reputation, teleworking and collaborative tools, innovation within public administrations, and digital trust and cyber security.
The workshop stressed the importance of integrating gender and digital issues into all training courses and of capitalising on existing Interministerial Consultation Network solutions. It was recommended that training courses should be certifiable and should include specific guidelines on gender proposed by e-TAMKEEN and more in-depth approaches requested by the Interministerial Consultation Network.
The workshop also served to define the guidelines and objectives for each training course. Particular attention was paid to integrating gender issues into all facets of the training, from innovation within administrations to cybersecurity. E-TAMKEEN and Interministerial Consultation Network worked together to ensure that the training courses were comprehensive and relevant, with a focus on eliminating gender bias, promoting inclusive public innovation and ensuring information security.
In addition to the training cycle, e-TAMKEEN also supported the Interministerial Consultation Network in organising an awareness-raising day and a large-scale seminar on gender and digital issues
