As part of the e-TAMKEEN project, support has been provided to the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform (MTNRA) to set up a public innovation laboratory, a major step forward for the Kingdom's public administration.
The first stage of the support consisted of a five-day study trip, attended by five officials (men and women) from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, the Digital Development Agency (ADD), the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Province of Berkane (which is positioning itself as a location for the implementation of a territorial experiment in such a laboratory). The delegation's main programme was to immerse itself in the environment of the NIDO LAB, a Belgian public innovation laboratory, and to meet representatives of the OECD in order to discover other innovation laboratories across Europe and the world. She also had the opportunity to talk at length with Enabel experts. The exchanges had a number of aims: to understand how NIDO LAB is governed, to take part in the laboratory's operational and strategic rituals and meetings, to consider the feasibility of setting up an innovation laboratory in Morocco, to learn about other examples of public innovation laboratories and to meet European innovation players.
